Our Department of Commerce, Loyola College recognizes Human Resource as a valuable asset to every organization. This mandates the formulation of Human Resource practices that are strategic in nature. With the view of removing the imbalances, the Department of Commerce (Shift – II) is organizing a National Level Conference on "STRATEGIC HUMAN RESOURCE PRACTICES" on the 24th of January, 2017 i.e., on Tuesday. This Conference enhances the notion of Human Resource practices which is essential for students, Generation-Y and Generation-Z, academicians, research scholars, corporates, executives and Human Resource professionals.

 

Objectives of the Conference
  • To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of Human Resource Management strategies.

  • To explore the conventional practices in Human Resource Management and provide an insight into the advancements in the same.
     

This Conference aims at throwing light on the strategic aspects of HRM and the advancements being incorporated in the field of HRM. Moreover, HR policies shall have to be crafted in a manner that ensures skill development for Generation-Y and Generation-Z since they comprise 40% of the Indian population (according to Census 2011).
